Under the guidance of Black Belt Professor Paulo Cesar, our academy has achieved outstanding results that speak volumes about the dedication and teamwork of our athletes and coaches.

South Pacific Championship
Our Male Gi team dominated, securing 1st place with only 11 competitors. A massive 351 points (twice as many as the next best academy) and a staggering 12 gold medals - more than the next top 3 academies combined! Our Male NoGi team also punched well above their weight, claiming 2nd place overall with only 4 athletes matching the gold medal haul of the first place team.
Queensland Team Challenge
We wrapped up the Team Challenge in Queensland, finishing 2nd Best Male Team in Gi and 9th in NoGi. This was in our gym's very first year and we couldn't be prouder. This accomplishment is a true testament to the power of teamwork, dedication, and the unwavering support of our coaches and students.
Queensland State Championship
Finishing in 2nd place for Best Male NoGi Team. Incredible results for an independent gym only open 10 months at the time. The hard work was put in and the results have spoken for themselves. At Studio 55 there are no shortcuts, just hard work and commitment from both students and coaches to achieve only the best outcomes and that is podium.
